A small companywith a narrow focus.
Alvoris Software Ltd is a private limited company registered in England. We develop operational business software and provide information technology consultancy — and we do not claim to do anything else.
Recently incorporated, and straightforward about it.
Alvoris is a new company. We are not going to describe a twenty-year history, list awards we have not won or publish client logos we are not entitled to use.
What we can offer is a clear, specific proposition: eight defined services across software development and technology consultancy, each with a stated scope, a stated deliverable and an indicative starting price published openly on this website.
Buying professional services from a young company is a reasonable question to weigh. Our answer is transparency — published prices, documented method, written outputs at every stage, and no contractual arrangements designed to make leaving difficult. Judge us on the specification we write and the questions we ask, because those are visible before you commit anything.

Correspondence should be addressed to the registered office. We work with clients across the United Kingdom; engagements are conducted remotely and, where the work genuinely requires it, on site by arrangement.
Six positions that shape everything we deliver.
These are not values in the decorative sense. They are the reasons our engagements are structured the way they are.
- 01The record matters more than the interfaceScreens can be redesigned in a fortnight. A badly modelled record constrains an organisation for years. We build from the data outwards.
- 02Boring technology is a featureWe choose well-documented, widely understood tools deliberately, so that another developer can pick up the work in three years without an archaeology exercise.
- 03The right recommendation is sometimes “do less”Not every problem needs new software. We hold no vendor commissions and price consultancy separately, so that conclusion costs us nothing to reach.
- 04Process comes before productSoftware that forces an organisation to abandon a process that genuinely works is a cost dressed as a solution.
- 05Documentation is part of the deliverableA system nobody can explain is a liability regardless of how well it runs today. Written specifications and data structures are handed over as standard.
- 06Clients should be able to leaveExport routes, documented structures and no lock-in clauses. Continuing to work with us should be a decision you make, not a position you are trapped in.
Practical arrangements.
The administrative side, stated plainly so there are no surprises.
What Alvoris does not do.
Being specific about the boundary is more useful to a prospective client than a long list of capabilities. If your requirement is on the right-hand list, we will tell you at the first conversation rather than at the proposal stage.

Reasonable questions to ask a new supplier.
We would ask these ourselves. Our answers are below, and we are happy to expand on any of them.
“What happens to our system if Alvoris ceases trading?”
You hold the documented data model, the export routes and, on full payment, the intellectual property in the bespoke work. We build on conventional, widely used technology precisely so that another developer can take it on.
“Can we see examples of previous work?”
We will discuss the technical approach, the data structures and the decisions involved in any engagement type in as much detail as you want. We will not show you another client's system or name clients without their permission — and you would not want us doing that with yours.
“How do we know the estimate is realistic?”
Quotations follow the definition stage rather than preceding it, which is why our engagements begin with understanding and specification. An estimate produced before the data model is agreed is a guess.
“What if the project is not going well?”
You will hear about it from us first. Our stage structure exists so that difficulty surfaces at a review point rather than at delivery, and our Cancellation Policy is deliberately not punitive.
